Social life a necessity for well being
The pictures in the background reveals that social life and recreation motivates the mind to learn. Achieving and maintaining well being whether physical, mental, or social can prove very difficult at times. But never the less people try, they hope and succeed. Actually, such achievements are crucial for our survival. To live a healthy and a happy life one has to be physically, mentally and socially health simultaneously. And therefore all that is required is a positive attitude to achieve individual well being, which lay a foundation for education achievers.

         Education is long life learning
The picture in the back ground shows AKU IED, EA campus where I happen to experience anew learning environment completely different from Ugandan universities. Long life learning helps one to fully develop natural abilities and wisdom. By so doing  it makes one to understand the world as  a better place in order to adapt to change. Besides, one is exposed to finding meaning of their lives, keeping involved as active contributors to society. My being at AKU IED, EA, as a student has given me a new dimension, an enriching life of self fulfillment and created new networks and collaborations between colleagues for valuable educational achievements.

Collaborative learning a step for adult learning
The pictures in the background show a cross section of MED students undertaking ICT from the three E. African countries through collaborative learning. By the fact that we now live and study together we share new experiences. The traditional image of learning has been that of a single teacher sharing his/her wisdom with the group. However today’s educational experts are turning that image by unlocking the learning potential in collaborative learning settings.  Hence collaborative learning has helped me tap the power of an inclusive and active group of learners in ICT. This has greatly impacted on my life as an adult learner at AKU-IED.
